Furch’s Green series sports all solid woods body and top, quality and workmanship. All for a lot less than what you’d need to spend when buying from other well known makers. With Furch, it is not only the attention to details and wood selection. In fact, the company developed unique building concepts that make their guitars more responsive and durable when compared to others.
The Furch Green Gc-SM has a solid AA African Mahogany back and sides, carefully selected by the team of luthiers are Furch. The top is also solid, for this model they went with AA Sitka Spruce. It is a classic combination of woods used by many other companies. What Furch does though, which enhances the response and tonal array of the guitar, is protect the entire guitar with their own developed Full-pore satin finish.
Furch not only treat the Green Gc-SM with their proprietary Full-pore sating finish. They also tune each top in a process called voicing. Each top receives great attention with the goal to enrich the guitar’s harmonies, response, clarity and balance.
