The Furch Blue Gc-CM 7 is yet another proof, that Furch does not stop at simply making beautiful, affordable acoustic guitars. Just like with their innovative truss rod, or foldable Little Jane travel guitar, these guys think outside of the box. This led to this all solid grand concert t string guitar, which is somewhat a first of its kind. The Gc-CM 7 is an open and balanced instrument, very comfortable to play despite the added string. It takes a moment but once you get used to it, the low B string becomes a secret weapon.
Cedar top and Mahogany body is a classic wood combination. With Solid AA African Mahogany back and sides, and a solid AA red Cedar the Furch Blue Gc-CM 7 projects warm and gentle tones. The guitar is finished with an open pure finish which does not limit the movement of the wood, keeping the guitar resonant and loud.
The Furch Blue Gc-CM 7 has its top tuned in a process called voicing. Each top receives great attention with the goal to enrich the guitar’s harmonies, response, clarity and balance. It is a unique process Furch integrated into their production alongside other features such as their CNR neck joint (which is found also on the Blue Gc-CM 7).
