Kaffir Lime

Now, we all love mini pedals. They save on space and weight, and who could argue with that classically compact look. If they have a downside it’s that they often represent a simple, or generic take on a guitar effect.
Tone City understand this all too well, which is why they make sure that their effects are different from your standard Ibanez or Mooer affair. Sonically, the Kaffir Lime offers a tad more gain, and a 2-band EQ. That’s significant because most pedals of this type only have a single tone control. By splitting the tone into a Low and a High control respectively, the Kaffir Lime manages to provide more control without compromising on size.
Another nice touch is that the main volume knob doubles as an LED indicator. It’s a small thing, but it’s a great example of how their compact design philosophy works with the player to improve the experience. It just goes to show that bigger really isn’t always better.
