The Blue Poet ST-Set provides all the sounds and nuances of a vintage Stratocaster pickup set with the advantage of a special voiced bridge pick-up capable of both screaming and whispering. It performs beautifully with the entire tonal range from crystal clean through crunch to high gain. Once again special attention was given to the balance of each of the 5 positions. An extra blend pot for hum cancelling – a must-have for Marcus – is also an attractive option for the Blue Poet Set.

Adreas Kloppmann began working on guitars in the mid ‘80’s, during that time Andreas collected data from every pickup which passed his workbench. In the ‘90’s Andreas improved the analysis methods to further understand pickups and with the assistance of artists such as Thomas Blug, Jürgen Attig and Peter Weihe he discovered which frequencies found in specific pickup tones corresponded with which famous guitar tones he loved such as Hendrix, Hank Marvin and Pastorius.

Based on this ever developing knowledge, Kloppmann can now analyse the sound of a pickup from its data and decide what its ideal purpose is as well as replicate our favourite tones from musical history.
