Twanggggg
The Fender Telecaster has not only an iconic design but tone too. The so called ‘Twang‘. It refers actually to the sound and bite coming from the bridge pickup, but what about the neck position? It is actually an important part of the Telecaster story. The neck position on the Amber Pickups Twangtone 50 captures the deep and stable tone characteristics of the original very well. It really interacts well with the twangy bridge position too, which we love. Both pickups use AlNiCo 5 magnets, winded by hand and made like Fender used to make them in the 50s.
